In June, Patchogue, New York real estate agent Donna Gallo Ingrassia took a drive from her very MAGA town on Long Island’s South Shore down to Washington, DC. Her mission, per NOTUS, was to bang loudly on the doors to the offices of House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin and House Oversight Committee Robert Garcia and let be known her exception to a letter saying “Mr Ingrassia is unfit to serve as special counsel and his nomination is insulting to the American people” that the two Democrats had sent to the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
“You may have heard of my son, Paul,” Donna said to members of Raskin’s staff when they unlocked the door and answered, the realtor and likely Virginia Slims-smoking Billy Joel fan of course referring to her Nazi sex pest spawn. Donna, a hardcore Trump fan, demanded to know why the door was locked to which the staff told her that it was due to threats against the Maryland libera. “What kind of threats?” Donna then asked, as Trump fans are wont to do with their memory-holing.
Raskin wasn’t there. Congress was out of session so he was working out of his district office, leading her to Garcia’s office – the Californian was also back in his district – where she told staff that Garcia had said “disparaging things” about her son, and she’d wanted to make sure she “could give him a piece of my mind.” Staff said she made a “sarcastic comment” and left a business card there.
Reached by text message, Donna told NOTUS she “visited both and requested a meeting and they never called me. If dialogue is one sided and no one listens to one another, without communication, how in the world can anything be accomplished? People hate and they do mot even know why they hate. Pride, jealousy, wrath, greed, sloth, envy. Deadly sins. Thank you for considering my thoughts.”
Sigh… Two things to note about this: (1) Santos never represented Patchogue. His now-former district was the complete opposite end and shore of the Nassau-Suffolk county region known colloquially as “Long Island” (2) Santos was already DOA politically by this point in 2023.
“Paul is a strong, unwavering Catholic who is a staunch supporter of President Trump and his agenda. This is an effort to muddy and derail the best candidate for the job. Schumer is a hypocrite, phony, and against President Trump and his agenda. Schumer is largely responsible for the continued shut down of the Federal Government,” Donna told NOTUS about her wonderful boy.
“Paul has a lot of congressional and senatorial support. He has tremendous support from Jewish leaders, and the Catholic community. Paul is articulate, intelligent, and wise beyond his years. He has strong family support and leads a life of faith, integrity and virtue. Very loyal.”
“Outcome : God’s will 🙏,” Donna wrote in one final text. About the “Jewish leaders” thing, NOTUS printed this article on Tuesday four minutes before CNN reported that Morton Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), which had previously backed his nomination, said in a statement that “If these text revelations are accurate, I have no choice but to immediately withdraw my support. In this time of a surge and growing antisemitism, it is incumbent upon all of us to fight even any hint of antisemitism or racism,” in response to Politico’s reporting from Monday.
