Self-quoting from his earlier reporting on how several House Republicans told him they hate their jobs and considering resigning their seats, Punchbowl’s Jake Sherman writes that “since this ran this morning – 4 hours ago? – I’ve gotten countless text messages from House Republicans agreeing with this sentiment and saying why the hell should we stay in Congress if all we’re going to do is vote on censures and be a potted plant.” Would be nice if at least some of those “countless” members follow through if they’ve already given up on hanging onto the majority into 2027.
