In order to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus at its newly opened amusement parks, Japanese officials have banned screaming by those who take rides on roller coasters and urged them instead to “please scream inside your heart.”
According to CNET, they produced a video featuring two executives from the Fuji-Q Highland amusement park, Daisuke Iwata and Koichiro Horiuchi, taking a ride on one of their park’s roller coasters.
The four-minute video shows the two men taking a ride on the Fujiyama coaster, which reaches speeds up to 80 miles per hour, as they sit stoically through the entire ride, masks in place.
The video ends urging people to “please scream inside your heart.”
