Death toll in Israel and Gaza over 500

At least 300 Israelis and 252 Palestinians are dead Saturday after the cross-border terrorist assault on military and civilian targets in Israel and the IDF’s retaliatory strikes on Gaza, CNN reports.

More than 1,500 Israelis are injured and an unknown number of civilians and soldiers, likely over 100, have been abducted and are being held hostage in Gaza. Injuries on the Gaza side are over 1,700.
