Roman, Meadows plead not guilty to Arizona election fraud charges

Former Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and Trump campaign aide Mike Roman pleaded not guilty during their arraignments, via video, before a Maricopa County judge, the Washington Post reports. The pair are part of an alleged 18-member conspiracy during the 2020 election to submit slates of false electors; they each face nine criminal counts related to conspiracy, forgery and fraud. Although his lawyer Rudy Giuliani was charged in Arizona, Donald Trump himself was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in the plot to submit fake electors.
