Tropical Storm Debby–a hurricane when it hit shore, but downgraded as it lost power–has left a trail of damage across Florida (not that one would notice) including leaving at least five dead, and at least 100,000 people remained without power Monday night.
Perhaps thanks to the storm, someone in the Florida Keys made an unexpected discovery on a morning walk along the beach: more than thirty kilos–roughly seventy pounds–of cocaine in 25 packages, according to a post by the head of the Border Patrol’s Florida office which featured the creative hashtag #FloridaKeys.
