Obese North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un ordered as many as 30 public officials executed for failing to prevent recent floods from destroying more than 4,000 homes as well as road and rail infrastructure in the communist kingdom’s northwestern regions last month, Fox News reports.
It’s not clear what the officials’ failures were specifically, as in whether they maybe neglected to open up the drainage channels of a dam that ended up bursting or something like that, or if they were simply executed because Kim needed a scapegoat. Probably safer to assume the latter.
