Continuing their ongoing surveys on Project 2025, Navigator Research on Wednesday posted the findings from their September sample on convicted felon former President Trump’s detailed plan to end American democracy, finding that if awareness of the Heritage Foundation’s blueprint has plateaued somewhat – 48 percent say they’ve heard of the plan and know about the toplines, it was 49 percent in August – opposition definitely inched up, from 36 to 40 percent.
And hilariously, pretty much all of that growth seems to have come from respondents who identified themselves as “MAGA Republicans,” as Project 2025 went from net +10 percent in favorability from them in June to negative 7 percent which we’ll non-baselessly speculate means that they’re not actually opposed on principle but recognize it as a liability that Dems are successfully exploiting.
Even funnier: “Non-MAGA Republicans” just barely edged out the MAGAs on non-awareness of Project 2025 at 59 to 57 percent, respectively. These fuckers are definitely lying and are simply pretending they know nothing while Trump tries to disown it. The fact that the MAGA voters who said yes to “Do you think Project 2025 accurately describes what Donald Trump stands for?” swung from +9 in August to negative -8 in September is the giveaway.
