The FBI released additional video of the person suspected of placing improvised explosive devices at the DC headquarters of the Democratic National Committee and the Republican National Committee on the eve of the January 6th insurrectionist attack at the Capitol.
According to NBC News, the FBI hopes that the additional footage will spark someone’s memory about the individual, who is seen at locations in downtown DC and the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It has offered a $100,000 reward for information on the suspect.
“These pipe bombs were viable devices that could have been detonated, resulting in injury or death. We need the public’s help to identify the individual responsible for placing these pipe bombs, to ensure they will not harm themselves or anyone else,” said Steven D’Antuono, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington, DC field office.
