Quick Service Restaurants Web: Roy Rogers announced it’s newest effort to turn us all into morbidly obese gluttons with their “Big Sky Burger”, soon to be showing up at State thruway rest stops all across the country.
“The Big Sky Burger features Smithfield pulled pork, beer-battered onion rings and Duke’s Georgia Sweet Heat barbecue on a quarter-pound burger served on a corn-dusted Kaiser roll, for $5.99 or $8.79 for a combo meal. The brand is also introducing beer battered onion rings as a [limited time offering] for the same period, which include a quarter-pound of the deep-fried pungent vegetables, served with Duke’s Georgia Sweet Heat barbecue sauce for dipping. The side is priced at $2.99 and can be included in any combo.”
No word yet on whether Roy Rogers plans to offer diapers for sale at their state thruway locations.
