The Saturday, December 4th march in Washington DC by White Supremacist group Patriot Front is being painted as a false flag and/or FBI operation across the MAGAverse, a review of several websites home to right wing bullshit revealed. Trump fanboys, an already deeply paranoid cohort, did not offer much in the way of evidence on why they believe the Patriot Front or its leader Thomas Rousseau is an FBI asset besides “hunches” such as the group’s generic-ish name, tendency to wear masks during their marches, or their physical fitness and discipline relative to other groups such as the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers.
The fake group called the Patriot Front that marched on DC with US flags and shields with masks on are Feds. Probably the same Feds who were at the J6 event checking their watches.

Pro-Tip: The whole point of a False Flag operation is that it’s not immediafely clear who is responsible.
If you are forming a “front group” of “Patriots” (the preferred term for smearing actual patriots), the name shouldn’t be an obvious one.
Say, “Patriot Front,” for example.

Was today's "Patriot Front" parade just the FBI spending their end of year 'use-it-or-lose-it' budget?

The topic was particularly contentious on Patriots.win (formerly TheDonald.win, formerly r/TheDonald before they got banned from Reddit). Defenders of the group’s authenticity found themselves mostly beleaguered by the false flag crowd, but damn if it isn’t entertaining.
Here’s another exchange in response to a post about how Rousseau was arrested in Texas last year for putting up stickers bearing white nationalist slogans on county property:
Naturally these assholes aren’t “doing their own research”. If they did, they’d find that Patriot Front has a long track record of media reports on the otherwise secretive group.
Moronic as it all is, it’s ultimately a good thing that the fanboys can’t accept the existence of a tightly organized and disciplined sect of their cult as a genuine article, preferring Proud Boys drunk on White Claw to be the tip of the spear instead. We’d probably be singing a very different tune today had it been 1,000 Patriot Front storming the Capitol and not Christian pop artists, mentally ill cosplayers, and families having a wild DC vacation on January 6th.
