It’s almost like Trump doesn’t know which country Canada borders. The only country it borders. And that he completely didn’t read the tweet where it has nothing to do with the borders but Canada’s immigration system through which new legal applicants from other countries are granted citizenship.

Trudeau’s not building a goddamned wall or deporting Americans sneaking over the border any more than Melania avoided eye-fucking him when he visited the White House that one time.

CNN’s Wednesday night town hall starring Vice President Kamala Harris preliminarily drew 3.2 million viewers for CNN, media guy Brian Stelter reports, writing “the total audience rating will grow when Nielsen releases finalized data later today, and the TV ratings do not count various forms of streaming… Wednesday night’s event outrated all of Harris and Trump’s previous town halls of the general election season. (Their recent Univision town halls averaged about 1 million viewers each.)”

Clearly his staff has been saying he’s exhausted, and the sad part about that is he’s trying to be President of the United States. It’s the toughest job in the world and he’s exhausted.”

You know maybe by the third old white Republican guy in crucial swing states – two of them currently in elected office – telling the media they’re going to be voting for the Democrat for president in a single morning we can say that it’s possibly a bigger deal than Tulsi Gabbard (who actually says she’s a Republican now anyway) and Robert F Kennedy Jr, who’s mentally ill. A criminal mastermind living in The Villages, Florida was arrested and booked on charges of hit and run, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and driving while license suspended after he crashed an Infiniti SUV into a lamppost, threw a gun over a nearby fence, and ran away from the scene, but then returned because he wanted to try to find a gold necklace he dropped following the crash in nearby Summerfield, Villages-News reports.

It was early last Thursday when, immediately following the crash, 51 year-old Timothy Harold Barnhorst was seen tossing a dark object over the fence by a neighbor awoken by the loud crash. A Marion County deputy was investigating the scene when Barnohorst approached saying he was looking for the necklace. Whether this was on the ground or in the car was not stated, but either way the deputy quickly placed Barnhorst under arrest for driving with a suspended license. Then they found the meth. Then the gun on the ground behind the fence. So yeah, Timmy’s in big trouble.

Being a convicted felon, Barnhorst isn’t eligible to vote so there’s no registration data on him. His 83 year-old mom, Linda, who he lives with in the Villages, is however a registered Republican.

Wrapping up an interview this morning with convicted felon former President Trump, far right shitbag radio host Hugh Hewitt asked the demented senior how he was feeling about his chances in Pennsylvania, saying “Well, I’m going to Pennsylvania for [Republican Senate nominee and hedge fund oligarch] Dave McCormick tonight. How do you feel about the Keystone State?”

An explosive new report from CNN reveals that Fox News may have edited portions of a segment of former president Trump speaking to Black and Latino men in a Bronx barbershop to make the 45th President appear more intelligent and coherent when answering questions from the voters present.

The revelation, apparent from inconsistencies between Fox’s airing of the segment and an Instagram video recorded by one of the participants, threatens to undermine Fox News’s commitment to journalistic integrity and political neutrality as evinced by the slogan “Fair and balanced.”

Evidently feeling like they need to up the ante after the first try sputtered out earlier this month and that yet another credible accuser came out against convicted felon former President Trump – this time linking him to notorious dead sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein – the Daily Mail is once again propagating an anonymous woman’s allegation that her ex-boyfriend, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, “forcibly slapped” her for flirting with another man at a 2012 party in Cannes, France.

The Mail still won’t identify the woman – just calling her “Jane” in the article – but includes pictures of her with Emhoff at the time, her face completely blurred out. “Jane” tells the Mail that she was spurred into “speaking out” because of Emhoff’s denial and she’s upset by “watching this completely fabricated persona being portrayed… He’s being held out to be the antithesis of who he actually is.”

What’s interesting about this is that, per the first report, the three sources who said they witnessed the incident had “requested not to be named due to fear of retaliation from Emhoff” which should indicate they feared for their friend too.Now this accuser shared photos of herself with her face blurred out, ones that Emhoff would almost certainly be able to identify himself and who he was with. Meaning that if the woman actually feared retaliation she would not be subjecting herself to potential scrutiny that could (probably will) reveal connections to Trump, Russians, et cetera.

You will not be shocked to learn that the Institute for Strategic Dialogue have identified Kremlin-backed trolls as playing a major role in spreading disinformation online in the aftermaths of Hurricanes Helene and Milton in order to wreak havoc in the US. From the key points of the report:

In line with a long-standing propaganda strategy, these pro-Kremlin networks are amplifying content from domestic US sources that align with Russia’s political interests. Russian outlets have portrayed the Biden administration as incompetent, with the hurricane response used to illustrate perceived government failures writ large”

“Such narratives generally cite the supposed allocation of resources to Ukraine over domestic needs. Russian disinfo campaigns are generally spreading unchecked across platforms. This type of content is especially prominent on X (formerly Twitter), in line with other recent moderation failures identified by ISD. In one case, RIA Novosti (a Russian state-owned news agency primarily serving domestic audiences), shared AI-generated images on their Russian-language Telegram channel which purported to show devastation at Florida’s Disney World caused by Hurricane Milton. These images appear to have originated from a low-traction account on X, before being picked up and amplified by RIA Novosti and subsequently other Russian-language media,”

Republican former Michigan Congressman Fred Upton, one of ten House GOP members who voted to impeach the Orange God Emperor following the January 6th, 2021 MAGA insurrection, announced his endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris in a statement to the Detroit News on Thursday.

“Watching Trump day after day, he’s ignored the advice of many senior, respected Republicans to stay on the issues. Instead, he’s still talking about the election being stolen, trashing women left and right. He’s just totally unhinged. We don’t need this chaos. We need to move forward, and that’s why I’m where I am,” said Upton, who was once censured for voting to censure Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Seems kind of low, right? Like not even by the standards of a halfway decent crime action movie where 18 getting killed in two hours better be made up in other qualities like the script and production value, but by the standards of Mexican cartel wars where 18 dead is either a busy half hour or an extremely slow weeknight. Yeah, of course right here this is the natural upshot to Irish/European gun control laws and an obvious argument in favor of the US moving closer to them.

That aside, we’re still puzzled as to why the gangsters don’t at least fatally stab, bludgeon, or strangle each other more often. Are they just (relatively) more polite and civil to each other?

A new Franklin and Marshall College survey of Pennsylvania voters finds Vice President Kamala Harris leading convicted felon former President Trump 48 to 44 percent among registered voters in the Keystone State while among likely voters Trump leads 49.6 percent to 49.3 percent. Polling egghead Adam Carlson writes that the pollster appears to have fucked up the likely voter screen by having respondents self-report it so we’ll stick with the registered voter number in the lede.

Emerson College meanwhile finds Trump leading Harris 50 to 48 percent in North Carolina and 49 to 48 percent in Wisconsin. That’s probably good because Emerson’s always a few points pro-MAGA.

Lastly Marist College/NPR/PBS News found Georgia tied at 49 percent each, while Trump is up 50 to 49 in Arizona and 50 to 48 in North Carolina among likely voters in all three states. The registered voter numbers are again better for Harris in each of the states, putting her up 49 to 48 percent in Georgia, tied at 49 in Arizona, and down 49 to 48 percent against Trump in North Carolina.
