A new survey of Virginia likely voters by StateNavigate finds Dem former Delegate Jay Jones leading incumbent Attorney General Jason Miyares 50 to 45 percent, and 52 to 38 among those who already voted, all this despite the MAGA freakout over some deranged texts that Jones sent wishing death upon the children of some pro-gun Republicans after the Uvalde massacre.

Republican former New Hampshire Senator John Sununu on Wednesday officially launched a comeback bid in the Granite State, seeking to take on likely Dem nominee Congressman Chris Pappas for the seat being vacated by retiring D Senator Jeanne Shaheen, who in 2008 defeated the then-incumbent Sununu, WMUR reports. John’s younger brother Chris, who served as governor until this year, famously passed on a bid against other Dem Senator Maggie Hassan in 2022.
Unlike Chris, John has yet to embrace the Orange God Emperor out of political expedience, though he faces a more authentically MAGA primary opponent in another former Senator, Scott Brown, who won a 2010 special in Massachusetts on a fluke after Ted Kennedy died, serving until his 2012 defeat to Liz Warren. Brown then moved to New Hampshire and lost to Shaheen in 2014.
“Sununu’s past opposition to Trump is well-documented, and he said he’s not focused on seeking the president’s endorsement,” WMUR writes and lol that’s not gonna fly if he wants to win.

Paul Ingrassia throws in the towel
“I will be withdrawing myself from Thursday’s HSGAC hearing to lead the Office of Special Counsel because unfortunately I do not have enough Republican votes at this time. I appreciate the overwhelming support that I have received throughout this process and will continue to serve President Trump and this administration to Make America Great Again!” posted Nazi sex pest Paul Ingrassia on Truth Social on Tuesday. Too bad Donna couldn’t help with this one.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes’s lawsuit against Jesus Dork Speaker Mike Johnson over his refusal to swear in Dem Congresswoman-Elect Adelita Grijalva, filed Tuesday in a DC federal court, puts forth a pretty freaking solid argument that Johnson’s “refusal to promptly seat Ms Grijalva, and to treat her as a member of the House, likewise injures the State of Arizona, which is denied the number of Representatives provided for by law.” Judges, especially federal ones, are big on the law.
Even better however is the very flexible relief part: “The State and Ms Grijalva therefore request that this Court enter a declaratory judgment that (1) Ms Grijalva shall be deemed a Member of the House of Representatives once she has taken the oath prescribed by law, see 5 USC § 3331, and (2) if Speaker Johnson has not administered the oath, the oath may be administered to Ms Grijalva by any person authorized by law to administer oaths.” The upshot being that if the judge rules that way Grijalva will have been sworn in before Johnson’s lawyers even file their notice of appeal.
A Minnesota Trump fan charged with three felonies for filling out her dead mom’s ballot for the fat bastard was sentenced to read a book and write an essay about the importance of proper voting, the AP reports on white people justice. Danielle Christine Miller, 51, of Nashwauk, pleaded guilty last week to forging the ballot for her mom, also allegedly a Trump fan, who died in August 2024.
Minnesota Ninth Judicial District Judge Heidi Chandler dismissed two of the charges and sentenced Miller to three years of supervised probation, an $885 fine, to read “Thank You for Voting: The Maddening, Enlightening, Inspiring Truth About Voting in America,” by Erin Geiger Smith, and to write a 10-page paper “regarding the importance in voting in a democracy and how election fraud can undermine the voting process.” Hopefully that means handwritten so no ChatGPT cheating at least.
In June, Patchogue, New York real estate agent Donna Gallo Ingrassia took a drive from her very MAGA town on Long Island’s South Shore down to Washington, DC. Her mission, per NOTUS, was to bang loudly on the doors to the offices of House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin and House Oversight Committee Robert Garcia and let be known her exception to a letter saying “Mr Ingrassia is unfit to serve as special counsel and his nomination is insulting to the American people” that the two Democrats had sent to the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
“You may have heard of my son, Paul,” Donna said to members of Raskin’s staff when they unlocked the door and answered, the realtor and likely Virginia Slims-smoking Billy Joel fan of course referring to her Nazi sex pest spawn. Donna, a hardcore Trump fan, demanded to know why the door was locked to which the staff told her that it was due to threats against the Maryland libera. “What kind of threats?” Donna then asked, as Trump fans are wont to do with their memory-holing.
Raskin wasn’t there. Congress was out of session so he was working out of his district office, leading her to Garcia’s office – the Californian was also back in his district – where she told staff that Garcia had said “disparaging things” about her son, and she’d wanted to make sure she “could give him a piece of my mind.” Staff said she made a “sarcastic comment” and left a business card there.
Reached by text message, Donna told NOTUS she “visited both and requested a meeting and they never called me. If dialogue is one sided and no one listens to one another, without communication, how in the world can anything be accomplished? People hate and they do mot even know why they hate. Pride, jealousy, wrath, greed, sloth, envy. Deadly sins. Thank you for considering my thoughts.”
Make Argentina Great Again
Convicted felon President Trump’s Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins on Tuesday didn’t seem too worried about hoof-and-mouth disease currently ravaging Argentinian cattle, American soybean AND cattle farmers pissed off about the regime’s willingness to help a foreign country, or having to explain it all to CNBC’s audience. She’s pretty chill with it all, unlike Wyoming Congresswoman Harriet Hageman, who reportedly is getting a lot of shit from her donors, ranchers in her state who told her that Trump’s plan to import Argentinian beef is “going to cost ranchers a lot of money.”
Neither of them held a candle to the dipshittery of the Trump voters who responded to this week’s Economist/YouGov survey which, for the first time that National Zero is aware of, split their sample and worded the same question slightly differently, A/B testing to hilarious effect. When asked “Do you approve or disapprove of the US government providing $20-40 billion in financial assistance to help stabilize Argentina’s economy?” 20 percent of respondents overall said the approve. When “US government” is replaced with “the Trump Administration” 21 percent of the other half approve.
Convicted felon President Trump has demanded the Justice Department, and thus the American taxpayers, hand him $230 million personally as recompense for the two federal criminal investigations into him for crimes that he actually committed, the New York Times reports.
“The situation has no parallel in American history, as Mr Trump, a presidential candidate, was pursued by federal law enforcement and eventually won the election, taking over the very government that must now review his claims. It is also the starkest example yet of potential ethical conflicts created by installing the president’s former lawyers atop the Justice Department,” the Times writes, trying their best to just call it what it is but still failing due to outmoded media mores.
So they outsource it to experts. “What a travesty. The ethical conflict is just so basic and fundamental, you don’t need a law professor to explain it,” said Bennett L Gershman, a legal ethics professor at Pace University School of Law, adding “And then to have people in the Justice Department decide whether his claim should be successful or not, and these are the people who serve him deciding whether he wins or loses. It’s bizarre and almost too outlandish to believe.”
Arizona Dem Congresswoman-Elect Adelita Grijalva on Tuesday told Punchbowl’s Jake Sherman that she expects that her state Attorney General Kris Mayes will file a federal lawsuit seeking to compel Speaker Mike Johnson to swear Grijalva in finally after weeks of holding out.
Georgie not out of the woods yet
“Since first learning of George Santos’ actions, I’ve been at the forefront of bringing him to justice. I am proud of the work my office has done, and the – conviction achieved in partnership with the US Attorney’s office. While the office cannot comment on ongoing investigations, suffice it to say that I remain focused on prosecuting political corruption wherever it exists regardless of political affiliation,” said Nassau County DA Anne Donnelly in a statement on Tuesday.
A White House official tells Axios that convicted felon President Trump has no plans to meet with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin anytime soon, quashing the Budapest meeting the fat bastard wanted. “There are no plans for President Trump to meet with President Putin in the immediate future,” a spokesworm said, confirming the Trump and Putin regimes were too far apart on Ukraine.
In a letter that leads with the usual bullshit before admitting that Dems are right about this, thirteen vulnerable House Republicans on Tuesday urged Speaker Mike Johnson to cave and allow a vote on extending the Affordable Care Act subsidies to hit the floor, more than enough support to pass it.
“We write to thank you for your strong leadership during this government shutdown and to underscore the urgent need to pass a short-term continuing resolution so the government can reopen. Every day the shutdown continues to hurt the very people we were elected to serve, including the men and women of our Armed Forces, the federal law enforcement officers who keep our communities safe, the agents who defend our nation’s borders, and the public servants who provide essential services to veterans, seniors, and families. Keeping the government closed helps no one and undermines the safety and stability of our country. We also firmly believe that the government funding debate is not the time or place to address healthcare issues. Using the shutdown as leverage to force that debate only prolongs the harm and distracts from the immediate task of reopening the government,” the letter opens with before getting to the actual point…
“Once the government is reopened, however, we should immediately turn our focus to the growing crisis of healthcare affordability and the looming expiration of the enhanced Affordable Care Act (ACA) premium tax credits. Millions of Americans are facing drastic premium increases due to short-sighted Democratic policymaking. While we did not create this crisis, we now have both the responsibility and the opportunity to address it. Allowing these tax credits to lapse without a clear path forward would risk real harm to those we represent. Nevertheless, we must chart a conservative path that protects working families in our districts across the country who rely on these credits,” and THERE IT IS. THAT’S WHERE THEY ADMITS DEMS ARE RIGHT ABOUT THIS.
Only about 22 percent of the applicants for FEMA disaster assistance after the July 4th floods that ravaged Kerr County, Texas have been deemed eligible to get financial help so far, the Texas Tribune reports on another failure by the Trump Regime to help even its own voters when they’ve suffered.
Nearly four months after the cataclysmic flood that left at least 117 dead in Kerr alone – including 27 campers and counselors at the Camp Mystic Christian sleepaway camp for girls – 1,749, or less than half the 3,228 applications have made it past the eligibility review stage as of October 11th. Of those, only 709 were deemed eligible while 775 were denied, many of whom had stopped responding or withdrew. The 22 percent rate is significantly below the 39 percent pre-2025 average.
“I am grateful to state and federal law enforcement for their swift and decisive action to apprehend a dangerous individual who made a credible death threat against me with every intention to carry it out. The person arrested, along with thousands of violent felons who stormed the US Capitol during the January 6th attack, was pardoned by Donald Trump on the President’s very first day in office.”
“Since the blanket pardon that occurred earlier this year, many of the criminals released have committed additional crimes throughout the country. Unfortunately, our brave men and women in law enforcement are being forced to spend their time keeping our communities safe from these violent individuals who should never have been pardoned. It is the honor of my life to serve in Congress during these challenging times. Threats of violence will not stop us from showing up, standing up and speaking up for the American people,” said House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries in a statement on Tuesday responding to the arrest of pardoned MAGA rioter Chris Moynihan.
The “grateful to state and federal law enforcement” part is odd – as is that this morning’s New York State Police statement specifically mentioned “Federal Bureau of Investigation Joint Terrorism Task Force (FBI-JTTF)” were involved and that such threats are usually charged federally under 18 USC § 115 – so it’d be helpful if Jeffries would explain why Moynihan is facing state-level charges. Did K$H order the FBI to stand down or did Jeffries ask the local DA to get involved to preempt another pardon from the Orange God Emperor? Even weirder is the Dutchess County DA releasing a statement saying “Although my office was not contacted during the investigative stage of this matter, we are now reviewing the case for legal and factual sufficiency,” just minutes ago.
Joining late so, missed a gem from Speaker Mike Johnson stupidly drawing attention to the Epstein shitshow, saying “Suddenly now, they’ve somehow convinced themselves that the Epstein files will be damaging to President Trump and Republicans in some way that they’ve imagined, and so they feign outrage,” as though that’ll convince Dems to back down from the discharge petition.
“The oversight committee is already accomplishing what the discharge petition, that gambit sought, and much more. The Epstein estate files that have been this new treasure-trove, the third batch, was not even included in the discharge petition. Didn’t even think of it. And again, the investigation is bipartisan. It’s nonstop. And far broader in scope than what is covered by the discharge petition and already yielded significant results. Unfortunately, some Democrats, sadly even a couple Republicans, have tried to make this a political issue. They seem to be more interested in trying somehow to lay a glove on the president than securing justice for these victims,” Johnson added.
In an email obtained by the Wall Street Journal, a US Treasury official on Monday commanded staff to stop taking pics of the demolition work on the East Wing of the White House where convicted felon President Trump’s worker ants are prepping to construct a garish $250 million “ballroom,” writing “As construction proceeds on the White House grounds, employees should refrain from taking and sharing photographs of the grounds, to include the East Wing, without prior approval from the Office of Public Affairs.” A spokesperson tried to explain it away to the Journal as being about security as pics could “potentially reveal sensitive items, including security features or confidential structural details,” as though they couldn’t have put a tarp up if that was a concern.
Orange Warlord amped to bomb Gaza
“Numerous of our NOW GREAT ALLIES in the Middle East, and areas surrounding the Middle East, have explicitly and strongly, with great enthusiasm, informed me that they would welcome the opportunity, at my request, to go into GAZA with a heavy force and ‘straighten our Hamas’ if Hamas continues to act badly, in violation of their agreement with us. The love and spirit for the Middle East has not been seen like this in a thousand years! It is a beautiful thing to behold! I told these countries, and Israel, ‘NOT YET!’ There is still hope that Hamas will do what is right. If they do not, an end to Hamas will be FAST, FURIOUS, AND BRUTAL! I would like to thank all of those countries that called to help. Also, I would like to thank the great and powerful country of Indonesia, and its wonderful leader, for all of the help they have shown and given to the Middle East, and to the USA. TO EVERYONE, thank you for your attention to this matter!” posted President Peace on Tuesday.
