The report in Mediaite is FAKE NEWS, reposting someone named Tara Palmeri, who I don’t know, but I understand is very close to, and writes for, a competitor,” and blah blah blah, which of course Mediaite creamed their pants over the callout, not realizing that Trump probably did that on purpose to belittle the actual original reporting from Palmeri, whose outlet is called Puck News.

In a mostly unrelated development but in a similar vein, expect Mediaite within the next few minutes to print another one of their insufferable “JUST IN” or “BREAKING” headlines for the incredibly boring news that former NBC News guy Brian Williams has signed with Amazon to anchor their election night coverage on the Prime video service, originally scooped by Puck editor Dylan Byers.

A new set of swing state polls from the New York Times and Siena College finds Vice President Kamala Harris leading convicted felon former President Trump 48 to 47 percent in Michigan, 49 to 47 percent in Wisconsin, and 52 to 43 percent in Nebraska’s 2nd District, while Trump leads 50 to 44 percent in Ohio. Incumbent Dem Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown leads douchebag car dealer Bernie Moreno 47 to 43 percent in that very crucial race. Dem Tony Vargas leads “Moderate” GOP Congressman Don Bacon 48 to 44 percent in NE-2 in a key flip opportunity for House Dems.

We don’t assume the New York Times polls are predictive, even if the rest of the goddamned media operates as if they’re the word of God, but if one were to put the sum total of the most recent swing state/district findings and work with the rest of the Electoral College map the same as 2020, it adds up to a 270 to 262 win for Kamala Harris (they haven’t gotten to Nevada this month).

The people who know say don’t take time to consider Donald Trump’s latest scam:  a leap into the luxury watch market with a limited edition Trump watch that sells for six-figures.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, Trump’s watch was cobbled together by some no-name assembler, probably in China.

Anyone can go to a white labeler and say, ‘I want a watch with this case, this bracelet and these other details,’ and a white labeler will Frankenstein it together, put your name on it and sell it to you. But the price you sell it for is up to you. That the markup came from someone on Trump’s team is obvious here. Even the $500 piece from another brand would go for maybe $200.”

West Virginia Republicans have finally had enough with state senator Mike Maroney, an eight-year member of the state legislature from Wheeling.  It wasn’t fine with them that he was caught, um, practicing onanism in a casino last month, but now that he’s been charged with drunk driving, they’ve decided he must go, according to NBC News.

“While the legal process must take its course, the perception of impropriety and the repeated legal entanglements surrounding Senator Maroney have brought discredit to the West Virginia Senate,” the chairman of the Monongalia County Republican Executive Committee, said in a posted statement. “We believe it is in the best interest of Senate District 2 and the state for Senator Maroney to resign, restoring public trust and the integrity of the Senate.”

There is no public record of the Monongalia County Republican Executive Committee making a similar statement for a candidate for federal office who’s been convicted of 34 felonies and found liable for sexually assaulting a woman.

Vice President Kamala Harris will deliver remarks near the border starting at around 7:45 PM EDT on Friday.

The Israeli Defense Force have reason to believe they turned Hezbollah’s supreme leader Hassan Nasrallah into applesauce in a strike on a building in Beirut on Friday, with one former official telling CNN that the IDF “would not have attacked with such scope and power, if it was not sure with a very high degree of certainty that the ultra-terrorist was there.”

The US Supreme Court on Friday tossed roadkill guy Robert F Kennedy Jr’s petition to get himself on the ballot in New York State, especially rich because it comes a week after the fucking freak’s petition to get off the ballot in Michigan was rejected by a federal circuit court too. If we had to guess he thinks he could’ve somehow helped Trump by splitting off votes in the Empire State but to call that a stretch would be giving him too much credit. Chutkan’s order was in response to a new Friday filing by Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith which read, in part, “The process proposed here is based upon what the Court has previously directed in this case. Consistent with that prior litigation, the Government’s proposed redactions take into account DC Circuit precedent and three other relevant guideposts… [blah blah blah]… With these guideposts in mind – and with the simultaneous goals of providing the Court with a detailed factual proffer; protecting Sensitive Materials and the witnesses whose accounts support that proffer; and allowing an appropriate degree of public access – the Government has proposed redacted versions of its sealed Motion and sealed Appendix for filing on the public docket.”

Shorter version: Smith already gave a (pre)dacted version to Chutkan, and now it seems the judge is just going to toy with Trump’s lawyers to see if they can find a basis to argue – something, anything, other than “THIS ISN’T FAIR BECAUSE ELECTION INTERFERENCE,” purposely ignoring the irony of that they’re only there because their fat shit client tried to steal the last election.

We have yet to see any finding from Nebraska’s 2nd District putting convicted felon former President Trump trailing Vice President Kamala Harris for the single electoral vote that Team MAGA tried to steal for him this month and now it seems even further away as CNN/SSRS have found Harris up 53 to 42 percent. An Arkansas couple are under arrest for endangering the welfare of a minor and attempting to negotiate the relinquishment of a minor for adoption for selling their two-month old infant son to a neighbor in their trailer park in exchnage for a $1,000 cashier’s check and a six pack of beer. The damning evidence of their intent? Per KNWA it was that they drafted and signed a receipt with a disclaimer saying “there will be no changing y’all two’s minds and to never contact again.”

The baby’s parents, Darien Urban, 21, and Shalene Ehlers, 20, were cuffed on September 21st after a caper that began when neighbor Ricky Crawford had offered to babysit in exchange for a few beers.

At some point someone got the idea to sell the unnamed baby boy to Crawford on a permanent basis, which the trailer park’s manager got wind of and called the police to investigate. Upon arriving they found Crawford “heavily intoxicated, with slurred speech and difficulty maintaining his balance,” but the baby in the “care” of another neighbor, Cody Martin. The baby’s diaper was soiled and he was suffering from rash, leading to the endangerment charge for Urban and Ehlers. They never got the money from Crawford either, as the contract stipulated payment was due on Monday the 23rd.
