Officials in Broward County, Florida tell CNN that the two still-unidentified men found dead in the landing gear compartment of a JetBlue Airbus A320 at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Monday night were frequent flyers, having likely traveled to destinations all around the US and the Carribbean such as New York, Salt Lake City, and Kingston, Jamaica, and more.

Thing is they weren’t actually alive to see those destinations, as a law enforcement official said the two men’s bodies were “badly decomposed” and would’ve been stuck in the compartment for weeks, if not months, making it difficult to determine where they first got on and then either asphyxiated from the lack of oxygen or froze to death at temperatures often dipping below -70 F.

That the two corpses were “refrigerated” to such extremes for much of their time inside the compartment obviously would’ve slowed the decomposition, thus making it maybe just a little embarrassing to JetBlue that it took them however freaking long to find the bodies. Really they’d have to go back to the last time the landing gear was serviced and work from there to figure out when and where the two might have snuck on. The incident was the second such in the US in two weeks as on Christmas Eve a person was found dead in the landing gear of a United Airlines Boeing 787 that landed in Maui from Chicago. No details on the state of the remains were made public.

Edgar Maddison Welch, the MAGA asshole who did four years in the joint for firing live rounds inside DC’s Comet Ping Pong while searching for Hillary’s mythical torture dungeon in 2016 is now as dead as the fictional children he didn’t save from her blood rituals, the Charlotte Observer reports.

Welch was mortally wounded by a cop after he pulled a pistol and pointed it at them during a traffic stop on Saturday night in Kannapolis, North Carolina, expiring of lead poisoning at a hospital on Monday. The Pizzagate believer had a warrant out for his arrest on a felony probation violation.

Then-DC Circuit Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson in 2017 sentenced Welch to four years after he pleaded guilty to to a federal charge of interstate transportation of a firearm and ammunition, and a District of Columbia charge of assault with a dangerous weapon over the 2016 incident at Comet Ping Pong. Welch was armed with an AR-15 when he stormed into the pizza restaurant and fired shots at the ceiling, demanding to be led into the non-existent basement to rescue the children from Hillary Clinton and John Podesta, sending families with actual children fleeing from their tables.

In an NBC News story titled “LA officials say looters targeting vulnerable communities will be held accountable” there’s a pic that is not in the public domain so National Zero can’t just steal it and re-paste it here because publishing rights and all that shit. The photo depicts the charred remains of the Town and Country Liquor store on North Fair Oaks Ave in suburban Altadena, one of no doubt hundreds of retail stores that have been burned to the ground in the area over the last 48 hours.

There’s no reason given why that particular photo was chosen to illustrate an article about officials warning locals against looting, but it’s not hard to infer it’s because the store could have been – or actually was – a target of opportunistic looters before the burning roof collapsed and destroyed all the goods inside. The thing is, should anyone actually give a shit if someone bashed in the window and made off with a few bottles of mezcal, provided it was obvious that the store was a goner?

This wasn’t an earthquake where people making off with salvageable products after the fact is clearly looting. It’s not a riot where looting is basically the whole point. It’s not the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina where the photos of a Black dude making off with cases of bottled water were captioned “looter” while a white guy carrying a TV he stole from a Best Buy was a “survivor foraging for vital supplies” or whatever. It’s just that the booze is no good to anyone when it’s about to burn so if there’s no question whether a particular establishment is doomed then maybe it’s stupid to prosecute a guy caught stealing mezcal from a liquor store that’s already on fire or will be very soon.
