Seriously, if the Alitos find their situation untenable, they should just move to a state that is more tolerant of their views and actions. He doesn’t have to live in a tony Washington, DC suburb. He could move to, say, West Virginia and commute in, like many people do. It’s only a two hour drive, across state lines.
If people can do that for a medical procedure, Alito should be willing to do it for his job.
