As billed, Attorney General Merrick Garland will sit for hours of abuse from spandex-wearing grapple-freak chairman Jim Jordan and his MAGA buddies in what we would hazard was a regularly-scheduled oversight hearing that just happened to come days after Jordan’s Orange Allah was convicted after a trial the fanboys falsely claim was secretly directed by the Biden-Garland Justice Department, Garland himself faces a contempt vote over his refusal to hand over the tape of Biden documents fuckup special counsel Robert Hur’s interview with the president to the House GOP to splice out audio segments to use for campaign purposes, and Hunter Biden’s federal gun charges trial – not to mention all the other ongoing “Deep State” and “weaponization” bullshit.
In related news, CNN’s Annie Grayer reports that Speaker Mike Johnson has greenlit Jordan’s plan for a “three-pronged” attack on the Justice Department through oversight, funding, and legislation to defang the nation’s top law enforcement body as revenge for Trump’s conviction in New York.
