This week’s Economist/YouGov national survey finds convicted felon President Trump’s approval rating on “Inflation/prices” – rated the most important single issue among respondents overall at 18 percent – at just 35 percent, down a fifth from March when it was at 42 percent.
Even 20 percent of the fat fuck’s own voters disapprove of his handling of the issue. Overall Donald’s job approval rating is down to 41 percent, not far from the 38 he scored in last week’s Quinnipiac national poll. The best issue for him was “crime” and even that was 1 percent underwater at 44/45 percent approve/disapprove. On immigration he’s 8 percent in the red at 44 to 52 percent approve/disapprove, on which 13 percent of his own voters don’t like what they’re seeing.
Other questions revealed some pretty interesting non-zero percentages from Trump 2024 voters too: 12 percent say he’s “Not honest and trustworthy,” 6 percent of them each said they personally either dislike him “Somewhat” or “A lot,” 11 percent said they don’t think he has the temperament to be president and another 8 weren’t sure if he does. On “Are you confident in Donald Trump’s ability to deal wisely with an international crisis, or are you uneasy about his approach?” 11 percent of MAGA voters said no, another 6 percent were unsure. On every one of these questions the negative rating from Trump’s own voters was larger than the opposite rating among those who voted for former Vice President Kamala Harris last November. Probably should come up with a formula or something for that, like “exclusive net negative” to offset the idiots who say they voted for Harris but also that Trump is honest and trustworthy. That was 6 percent of Harris voters, by the way.
