The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday said “lol, no” to disgraced former Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows’ bid to move his trial on his charges stemming from the post-2020 election coup attempt from Georgia state court in Fulton County to a federal court.
That the removal ability does not apply to former federal officials was bad enough, but considerably worse for the worm was the part where the court ruled that Meadows was not acting in his capacity as an official when he fucked around in Georgia after the 2020 election. Which is bad if and when Jack Smith decides to ding Meadows with federal charges for the same crimes nationally.
