Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, whose position is precarious after his top economic deputy called it quits on Monday, is considering resigning over the threats of tariffs from convicted felon US President-Elect Trump’s incoming maladministration, CTV News reports.
“People can’t afford their groceries,” said New Democratic Party Leader Jagmeet Singh during a session of Parliament in Ottawa before he was stifled by Tories screaming with joy. “Canadians literally cannot afford the groceries they need,” Singh continued. “Trump is threatening hundreds of thousands of jobs in this country… The prime minister cannot remain in that position. Will he resign?”
