The most (in)famous Supreme Court spouse in history, Ginni Thomas has been asked to give an interview to the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th domestic terrorist attack on Congress, and according to vice-chair Liz Cheney, if Thomas opts not to come in voluntarily, the committee will consider a subpoena, CNBC reports.
“We certainly hope that she will agree to come in voluntarily, but the committee is fully prepared to contemplate a subpoena if she does not,” Cheney said during an interview on CNN. “I hope it doesn’t get to that. I hope she will come in voluntarily. It’s very important for us to speak to her.”
Thomas sent several text messages to Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows encouraging the Trump cabal to undermine the Constitution and reinstall Trump to a second term in the White House even though he clearly lost the Electoral College and the vote.
