Aye carumba! Medium Buying reports the Harris-Walz campaign have made their first purchase of ad spots on Spanish-language TV stations in the swing states, with the first ads running Thursday.

A 47 year-old employee at an Australian warehouse is under arrest after investigators tied him to the theft of $600,000 dollary-doos worth of coins depicting the popular character “Bluey,” from the eponymous animated children’s series about a family of dogs, the Australian ABC News reports.

Thing is that the coins aren’t strictly collector’s items but actual legal tender that the Australian national mint was about to put into circulation because Queen Elizabeth II is dead and they need some other global cultural icon on their currency. Four people are dead, one of them a Lake County, Florida Sheriff’s deputy, another two deputies are wounded, and a QAnon-pilled registered Republican woman is being held without bail awaiting charges of suspicion of murder, attempted murder and other crimes after a shootout last week in a home in the town of Eustis spurred by pedophilia accusations, USA Today reports.

The shitshow started at about 7:45 PM Friday when 48 year-old Julie Sulpizio began assaulting her neighbors, accusing them of “being sinners,” and saying, ‘I know what you did.'” Cops responded and placed Sulpizio in cuffs. Asking her name, Sulpizio simply said she was “Helen under God’s will,” that her neighbors were pedophiles, and she was trying to lure them into her home so her husband, 49 year-old Michael Sulpizio could shoot them dead, as it was her job to bring him “dark souls.”

Deputies attempted to conduct a welfare check on the home, but were concerned that the residents might be armed so they waited. Finally after an hour of no activity, they approached and announced themselves, upon which Michael opened fire, fatally wounding 28 year-old Master Deputy Bradley Link. Two others were hit. Link’s body camera caught a woman, one of the Sulpizio’s daughters – either Cheyenne, 23, or Savannah, 22, (both registered GOP voters) screaming “My king will kill all of you!” while racking an assault rifle. A SWAT team showed up but all three of the Sulpizios still inside the house self-neutralized just before the tactical officers entered at around 11:02 PM.

Investigators found “conspiracy theory-related media,” gas masks, other emergency prep items, along with more than 20 firearms “gathered, placed and staged” around the home.

Yes, on one hand this seems very Rorschach test-y, and partisans are going to see what they want to see. It’s also kind of weird that, if this is a tease, what the hell’s the point of just a tease? Why not just come out and endorse Harris?

On the other hand, well, the figure sure looks like Kamala Harris, confirmation bias or not. Whatever the meaning and intent of the image is, it definitely resembles the vice president in height, hairstyle, pantsuit, and poise. The background also kind of looks like it’s invoking the White House.

Dem donation platform ActBlue processed $41,338,094 in contributions on Tuesday, most of it after news broke that Vice President Kamala Harris had picked Minnesota Gov Tim Walz as her running mate, per the ActBlue tracker at ObservableHQ written by the Marshall Project’s Ryan Murphy.

Now with the caveat that we don’t know yet exactly how much of that went to Harris-Walz as opposed to downballot Dems, the DCCC/DSCC, PACs etc, while also assuming that the vast majority of it in fact did go to the top of the ticket, Tuesday is highly likely to be the second day in the less than three weeks since Joe Biden handed his reelection bid over to Harris that the D ticket broke disgraced former President Trump’s record $34.8 million haul from the day of his conviction.

Missouri Democratic Congresswoman Cori Bush, an outspoken member of The Squad, lost her primary to the more moderate Wesley Ball in the state’s 1st Congressional District.  She’s the second member of the far-left Democratic sect to lose their reelection bid, after New York’s Jamaal Bowman.  Bush has not only frequently gone rogue on Democratic leadership who did not actively back her reelection, she’s also facing a corruption investigation for redirecting campaign funds to her husband.

In other Missouri election news:  Democrat Lucas Kunce will take on the jogging insurrectionist Republican Josh Hawley.  Trump lawyer Will Scharf lost the GOP primary in his bid to unseat the state’s Attorney General, Andrew Bailey, who Scharf said wasn’t radical enough.

On a day when many late primaries are happening–proving that you can nominate someone closer to Election Day and not need to advertise for two goddamn years–the race for Michigan’s open Senate seat has been set.  After stomping actor Hill Harper in today’s primary, Democratic Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin will take on former Congressman Mike Rogers, who last served in Washington in 2015; Rogers held off former Congressman Justin Amash.  The seat is available thanks to the retirement of four-term Democrat Debbie Stabenow.

Actual billionaire and respected former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg continues to use his wealth to fund educational enterprises:  speaking at the National Medical Association, a group that advocates for Black medical professionals, Bloomberg announced a $600 million donation to a number of historically Black medical schools.

CBS News reports that Howard University College of Medicine, Meharry Medical College and Morehouse School of Medicine will receive $175 million each, while Charles Drew University of Medicine & Science will receive $75 million.  Xavier University of Louisiana will get $5 million for a medical school it is in the process of establishing.

The funding is part of Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Greenwood Initiative, named after the predominantly Black neighborhood wiped out during the Tulsa massacre of 1921, to decrease the racial gap in access to education and ways to build wealth.

“He is the biggest booster in the whole country for unlimited refugee resettlement,” neo-hysterical Project 2025 promoter Stephen Miller screams.  “That means under the Harris-Walz plan, they’re going to turn the entire Midwest into Mogadishu.  That’s their plan.  That’s their policy.  I don’t think there’s a market for that in the United States of America.”
