We thought it’d be at least a few days before we’d cover former Wisconsin state Supreme Court Justice and ex-2020 election “review” czar Michael Gableman again after the video clip of his unhinged “tree of liberty” rant surfaced on Monday, but here we are once more as the fat asshole is in court defending another asshole, Harry Wait, the MAGA activist facing felony charges for submitting fraudulent requests for absentee ballots in a moronic and pointless attempt to prove the state’s election system is vulnerable to fraud, the Wisconsin Examiner reports.
Gableman told the Examiner he reached out and volunteered after seeing that Wait’s counsel had the old “fool for a client,” showing up to do some lawyering Monday at Wait’s appearance ahead of his trial on two felony counts of misappropriating identification information and two misdemeanor counts of election fraud concerning absentee ballots. Whether Gableman is able to see the case through to the end before he’s disbarred for any of the numerous episodes of flagrant misconduct committed during his failed investigation into the 2020 election in Wisconsin remains to be seen.
