On June 10th, MAGA Reich Youth leader Ryan Fournier wasn’t very cool to Republican Florida lawyer and ultimately failed Florida 13th District GOP primary candidate Kevin Hayslett over Hayslett’s representation of drunk driving defendants. However, as the Daily Beast reports, turns out Hayslett is actually the very same kind of defense lawyer to whom Fournier has turned to get him out of a little jam in North Carolina on charges of driving while impaired, aggressive driving, driving to endanger, and fleeing/eluding arrest with a motor vehicle in February 2021.
Fournier’s attorney got most of those offenses dropped last week, leaving only a speeding charge for which he faces 48 hours of community service along with a year of unsupervised probation and less than $1,000 in fines and court costs. But Fournier isn’t out of the woods yet, as he faces yet another DWI charge for a separate arrest from December 2020. His next appearance in court is this December, on which he faces possible jail time and license revocation. This on top of Fournier turning federal informant on his Students for Trump co-founder, sending him to federal prison for 13 months on a wire fraud charge for creating a fake law firm and ripping people off for over $46,000.
