Donald Trump makes things worse for everyone, but particularly for himself. Fresh after a jury ruled Trump should pay her $5 million for sexual battery and defamation, E. Jean Carroll is considering a third civil lawsuit against the loudmouth former president for comments he made during Wednesday’s town hall rally broadcast by CNN.
Talking to the New York Times Thursday morning, Carroll said she was asleep during the broadcast, but that her lawyer sent her a transcript featuring Trump’s latest defamation. “I am upset on the behalf of young men in America. They cannot listen to this balderdash and this old-timey view of women, which is a cave-man view.” Carroll said, with her attorney adding they’re considering legal action: “Everything’s on the table, obviously, and we have to give serious consideration to it. We have to weigh the various pros and cons and we’ll come to a decision in the next day or so, probably.”
