Thune "hoping to find out more" about Trump running Venezuela

Asked by CNN’s Manu Raju if he’s okay with convicted felon President Trump now claiming the United States runs Venezuela, Senate Majority Leader John Thune said “Well, we’re gonna try and get more information about that,” adding his team will be briefed on the matter this week.

Asked again what he thought Trump meant, Thune said simply he’s “hoping to find out more.”
