Fox & Friends co-host (and man less right than a stopped clock) Brian Kilmeade got schooled on school reopenings during a Q&A with middle school students about in-person classes restarting. Asking a sixth-grade boy what he missed most about not being in a classroom, the lad commented that he missed his classmates, but then overwhelmed Kilmeade with something he rarely faces: a cogent opinion challenging Fox News dogma.
“The way our new president is handling things is a good way and we would not have gotten to this if it was still the last president,” the boy stated.
“Really?” Kilmeade responded. “That’s hard to believe because the last president was saying, ‘I want every kid back in school.'” Of course, “the last president” was saying that in May 2020 when there were no vaccines and his administration had no plan to safely reopen schools, but hey, Kilmeade did okay for a remedial student.
