President Trump tweeted that his demand that schools open, but he seems unaware or unconcerned that his son’s school will begin the school year under a distance learning mandate imposed by county health officials, according to Time Magazine.
Barron Trump attends St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland, located in Montgomery County. Montgomery County Health Officer Dr. Travis Gayles ordered all schools to stay closed and do remote learning through at least October 1st. The county will reevaluate the policy at the end of September.

Barron would be entering the 9th grade at St. Andrew’s, which is scheduled to begin classes September 8th. It had announced that it would announce its plans for Fall classes by August 10th, but the county’s order made that announcement moot.
