“Michigan clerks rejected 10,694 mailed ballots during the August 4 primary. Of those, 846 ballots were not accepted ‘because the voter was dead,’ the Detroit News reported. Further, 2,225 ballots were denied because there was no voter signature on the envelope, and 1,111 votes were discarded because the voter moved to a new address after submitting the ballot. The state claimed the dead voters died between the time they submitted the ballot and when it was counted. Michigan’s largest city, Detroit, received 820 ballots that were ultimately rejected, according to the paper” Breitbart reported, without a hint of awareness that this is actually a picture of a functioning system rather than the vague insinuation of fraud that they try to hint at without actually saying it.
Note the use of the word “claim” because these fascist ball-suckers can’t assert anything one way or they other, all they can do is sow doubt. 846 Michiganders died in the few weeks between when they mailed their primary ballots and when the ballots were counted. The state went out of the way to appease mentally ill right wingers and checked for a death certificate for each voter just in case. And still Breitbart is not happy. What a fucking shocker, right?
