A 32 year-old man, described by Villages-News.com as a “squatter” who lives illegally in a trailer on private property just outside the massive corporate retirement community, was arrested by Sumter County Sheriff’s Deputies on suspicion of running a golf cart “chop shop” operation – as in stealing, dismantling, and parting out the vehicles. As expected, SDNY federal Judge Jeannette Vargas on Friday enjoined convicted felon President Trump’s regime from withholding the $6.9 billion in funding already appropriated in 2021 for the Gateway Tunnel rail project between Manhattan and North Jersey, NBC News reports.

Now Comer’s just handing Dems the permission structure to immediately subpoena his brother for records about their dairy farms and real estate scams, not to mention Jim Jordan’s wrestling team, Cory Mills’s imam… Shit, we could be here all day listing off all the different “avenues of inquiry” that Robert Garcia, Jamie Raskin, and the rest of the now-ranking members can use to torment their Republican colleagues if/when they get the gavels back.

Dale postulates that Trump is so addled that he’s hallucinating the swift negotiation with the deferential Sudanese officials to secure Ibrahim’s release simply because she was invited to the White House in 2019. She was one of several religious persecution victims there at an event, and she probably did thank him for hosting her and what not.

A Bronx judge on Friday delivered a bench verdict of guilty in the state’s manslaughter case against 38 year-old NYPD Sgt Erik Duran in the fatal August 2023 Igloo cooler-ing of 30 year-old drug dealing suspect Erik Duprey, WABC reports. Duran and his squad had just caught Duprey – also a DoorDash driver – selling an unspecified quantity of an unspecified narcotic substance to an undercover cop when Duprey jumped back on his electric bike and attempted to flee the scene.

Duran then picked up a mid-sized red Igloo cooler and flung it at Duprey, causing the suspect to lose control of his electric bike and suffer a fatal head injury after crashing into a tree. It’s not clear when the last time an NYPD officer used anything other than a gun, a taser, or a squad car to kill a fleeing suspect. Also unclear is whom the cooler belonged to and if they’ll get it back now that the trial is over. Prosecutors with the New York Attorney General’s office displayed it in court during the trial.

District judge John Ross ruled that the state did not identify “even a single Missouri resident” who was denied a job or otherwise harmed due to Starbucks’ employment practices and yeah, no shit. Bailey’s a DC-area resident now and he wasn’t available to testify that some 19 year-old Black woman was a little extra chatty with a coworker while he was waiting for his latte, therefore DEI.
